The average wholesale price of 18 vegetables rose by 4.8% as compared with that of the previous week, of which kidney beans, balsam pear and tomatoes rose by 12.4%, 11.3% and 9.9% respectively as a result of the decrease of supplies in the market. The retail price of chicken and egg rose slightly, and the price of chicken rose by 0.1%, and egg price picked up, up by 0.1% as compared with that of the previous week. The wholesale price of meat fluctuated slightly, of which the wholesale price of pork dropped by 0.5% while price of lamb and beef rose by 0.6% and 0.2% respectively. Retail prices of edible oil and cereals saw a slight decline, of which peanut oil and rapeseed oil went down by 0.2% and 0.1% respectively and small package of rice, small package of flour and soybean oil stayed the same. The average wholesale price of aquatic products were down by 0.5% as compared with that of the previous week after the rise for four consecutive weeks, top price drops are seen in crucian, small hairtail and carp, down by 1.9%, 0.8% and 0.4%respectively.
The price of energy resources was up by 1.1%, of which raw coal, lignite, bituminous and anthracite coal rose by 3.5%, 2.1% and 1.7% respectively. The price of non-ferrous metal was up by 0.4%, of which copper #1, tin #1 and nickel #1 were up by 1.5%, 1.1%, 0.8% and 1% respectively; price of lead #1 and zinc #1rose by 0.9% and 0.7% respectively, and price of aluminum A00 dropped by 0.9%. The price of chemical products rose by 0.3%, of which sulfuric acid and styrene were up by 1% and 0.9% respectively. Price of mineral products was up by 0.1%, of which lead ore, zinc ore and copper ore rose by 1.2%, 0.9% and 0.7% respectively; iron ore stayed the same and tungsten ore went down by 1.7%. The price of steel was down by 0.2%, of which plain round steel of Φ16mm, threaded steel bar of Φ12mm and ordinary hot rolled sheet of 3mm dropped by 0.3%, 0.3% and 0.1% respectively. The price of rubber droped by 0.5%, of which standard #1 rubber produced in China and imported smoked sheet #3 rubber (rss3) and styrene-butadiene rubber dropped by 1.2% and 1.1% respectively.
